Athletes run from 25 de Abril Bridge to Belém during the Lisbon Half Marathon in March, and parties take over the city for the Festas de Lisboa in June. August includes famous musicians performing during Jazz at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Europe's top galleries congregate at ArteLisboa in the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL – Lisbon International Fair) in November. The year ends with a bang, as stages are set up for the New Year's Eve party in Praça do Comércio.
