Climate information

Marseille's weather is always mild, with temperatures reaching up to 30°C in August and rarely dipping below 0°C in winter, even in January. The weather can be mitigated by the infamous north-easterly Mistral wind throughout the year, but rainfall is generally low making al fresco dining possible all year round. Air-conditioned hotels are a godsend in the summer.
