    Nightlife in Rome

Traditionally, Roman nightlife focuses on the bustling bars and cafés around Campo de' Fiori or Trastevere. Although these are still popular, hip locals dance all night in Testaccio clubs, or drink in chic piano bars like Gilda. Italian opera is performed at the grand Teatro dell'Opera, and concerts take place in the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Flaminio. Clubs open from around 11pm, and don't close until 4am or later.
