Aruba
A ticket to Aruba transports you to an island of palm-fringed soft-sand beaches, world-class shopping and cocktail-drenched nightlife in the playgrounds of Oranjestad, Eagle Beach and Palm Beach.
Things to do
A Kini Kini ATV tour of Aruba offers unparalleled views of the island's striking tropical terrain, from the towering stone boulders of Ayo Rock Formations to the California Lighthouse, beaches and rugged ramparts of Dutch-built Fort Zoutman.
Shopping
Enjoy city breaks to Aruba's Oranjestad, the island's retail hub with dozens of chic boutiques, swish designer stores and handicraft centres. Scour enormous shopping malls and travel home from Aruba with duty-free goods, local art, cosmetics, swimwear and cigars.
Restaurants
Buy airline tickets to Aruba and enjoy a fusion of Creole, Caribbean, European and local culinary styles. Favourites include stewed chicken, fruity curries, seafood and fiery sauces. There's everything from Italian fare and cheeseburgers to grilled meat Argentine-style.
Nightlife
Travel to Aruba's Oranjestad for intimate bars, music venues and clubs. For dazzling Aruba city breaks, most party hangouts are in downtown Oranjestad and the Palm Beach area. Buy a ticket to Aruba to sip tropical cocktails under a star-filled sky, enjoy salsa beats or dance to a steel band until daybreak.
When to go
KLM has frequent flights to Aruba. With year-round fine weather, you can travel any time of year. Many visitors choose to buy their Aruba airline tickets to take in the Aruba Carnival processions in Oranjestad, between January and March.

Paradise found!14 Jan 13
Aruba is as close to paradise as I have ever found, and I have been to all the 'affordable' Caribbean islands. The beaches are beautiful, but it is the people that make the island so wonderful. 2013 will be our 9th visit to the island and it is like going to visit friends.Fernusjayne - UK

We like the 'low rise' end of the island which is quiet and laid back, with no motorised watersports, but if you want more entertainment then the 'high rise' is for you. Highly recommended.
