Things to do in Hamburg
The history of Hamburg's seafaring tradition can be traced at the International Maritime Museum. Take a Boat Tour through Speicherstadt to explore this historic brick storehouse labyrinth. Hamburg Port, meanwhile, is home to busy container terminals. Get a bird's eye view of the city from St Michaelis Church, near the Altstadt (old town), before resting at Plants and Flowers, a green, city-centre oasis. Most museums open 10am to 6pm and close Monday.
