Shopping
Before return flights from Stockholm, visit the cobbled streets of Gamla Stan, Old Town, for a shopping excursion of traditional Swedish handcrafts. Colourful hand-blown glass gleams in shop displays, and thick woollen sweaters with traditional Nordic designs promise to keep away winter’s chill.
Restaurants
Sunshine glances off the water and brightens centuries-old inns in Stockholm’s Gamla Stan. Tuck into plates of tender, freshly-caught salmon or try smoked eel or reindeer followed by a glass of icy cold, anise-flavoured Aquavit. .
Nightlife
Opera singers perform in 18th-century costumes and powdered wigs at the lavish Drottningholm Court Theatre. Set on an island in Lake Mälaren, a ticket to Stockholm’s most famous opera and ballet venue features period theatre sets and musicians with antique instruments.
When to go
KLM has frequent flights to Stockholm. Plan a city break around the June Midsummer celebration at Skansen, or listen to world-class jazz artists at the Stockholm Jazz Festival in July.

Reizen door de stad met de metro (goedkoop en snel met een meerdaagse metrokaart).

Ik vind KLM echt super, alleen was is erg teleurgesteld dat ik vanaf terminaal 2 op Arlanda moest vertrekken. Ik wilde leuke cadeaus kopen maar daar was bijna niets te koop. Ook kon je niet iets voor bij de koffie krijgen, heel slecht!uppsala - Zweden
