Review of Milan
Milan
Take flights to Milan for da Vinci masterpieces, stylish arcade shopping and terrace eateries with cathedral views.
Things to do
On your Milan holiday, climb to the top of the Gothic cathedral for bird's-eye views over Milan. The steep rooftop is lined with spiky pinnacles and gargoyles, and carved arches offer tantalising glimpses of the snow-capped Alps on the horizon.
Shopping
Window-shop or splurge at exclusive boutiques in the grandeur of Milan's 19th-century Galleria. Stationers, bookstores and other specialist shops fill neo-classical arches lining the elegant glass-roofed arcades, and glittering mosaics catch sunlight streaming in through the Galleria's central glass dome.
Restaurants
Savour polenta, saffron risotto and other Milanese specialities on your Milan city break at trattorias tucked away on cobbled lanes. Milan's terrace restaurants have cathedral views off Piazza del Duomo and spill onto the pavement for candle-lit dining under the stars.
Nightlife
Milan's night owls listen to live jazz at pavement tables overlooking the canal in Navigli. To stretch your legs after your flights to Milan, take a walk along the canal-side path past the nightlife quarter's lively clubs and bars.
When to go
KLM has frequent flights to Milan. Book a holiday to Milan in February for Carnival Ambrosiano or in December to attend opening night at La Scala.

Milan is awesome city. There is a lot to see and do here. You should definitely see the catedral "Duomo", the Mall just on the left hand side of the catedral, the castle Sforcesco, Da Vinci statue, opera house La Scala, stadium hosting both of Milan's football clubs Milan and Inter, and don't forget to visit the Train station witch is a real state of the art build by Mussolini in 1931. Have a nice trip.Report abusevaseto - USA

Even ertussen uit: Milaan02 May 13
