   Vooral de Sagrada Familia ook van binnen bekijken,koop van te voren bij het info tourist buro een kaartje om niet onnodig lang in de rij te staan,met lift ticket,van binnen is het zooooooo mooi en met de lift omhoog een prachtig uitzicht!ook parc Guell,heerlijk gewandeld,muzikanten overal en waanzinnige architectuur van Gaudi,PRACHTIG!

   Na een valse start, een van onze vrienden is bestolen op de eerste dag (pas op voor zakkenrollers!!), hebben een fijn lang weekend met 8 vrienden gehad in barcelona. appartement gehad in Diagonal mar. en 3 dagen lang rondlopen in een mooie stad

   eten niet op La Rambla zelf maar neem een van de zij straatjes en zoek een knus tapas restaurant. Of in la Born, betaalbaar en lekker! pas op voor zakkenrollers!!

   Waren 8 jaar geleden ook geweest. Kerst en paar dagen er na. Nu Nieuwjaarsdag plus 3 dagen. Viel nu beetje tegen. Drukte enorm. Aanbod leuke restaurantjes viel tegen (wel vele restaurants, maar vele leken 'tourist traps'). Winkelaanbod hoog, echter veel van zelfde keten (bijv. schoenen). Taxi vliegveld-centrum bijna verdubbeld in prijs in 8 jaar! Interessant was het Catalonisch Historisch Museum bij de marina. Het weer was wel goed: 14-17 graden, zonnig tot half bewolkt. Hebben ons wel vermaakt, maar zal lang duren voor we nog eens gaan.

   Zoek een rustige periode uit dat er geen vakanties of vrije dagen zijn. Informeer jezelf tevoren goed over ligging hotels, winkel mogelijkheden (als je daarvoor gaat), musea e.d. Ga anders eens naar Valencia...

   Meer dan gezellige tijd gehad in Barcelona. Prima eten. Gezellig druk tot 's-avonds erg laat. Puik appartement via WayToStay midden in het centrum

   The visit to Sagrada familia, the Campnou and shopping at centro commercial la Maquinista will be remembered the most. We even had a treasure hunt organized by the H10 Marina at night!

   I enjoyed Barcelona very much. The food is excellent if you stay away from the Ramlas and one visit is not enough to see the entire city.

9. Barcelona = Genieten02 Aug 12

   Er zijn weinig steden waar we meerdere keren naar toe gaan. Barcelona is een zeer gunstige uitzondering. Wanneer we een tijdje niet geweest zijn, komt het gevoel weer boven dat je over de Ramblas wilt struinen, Gaudi weer wilt bewonderen, kijken of de Sacrada Familia misschien zowat af is, in het havengebied op het terras van één van de vele restaurants tot laat in de avond wilt zitten, enzovoort. Barcelona = Genieten, van de eerste tot de laatste minuut.

   De sight-seeing bussen tonen je echt de hele stad en sla op de ramblas eens één van de vele zijstraatjes in en ontdek de fantastische pleinen die daarachter liggen. En als voetballiefhebber: sla het Barcelona stadion niet over, bekijk het voetbalrijke museum en doe in het stsdion even je ogen dicht en je ziet Johan Cruyff, Ronald Koeman, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Patrick Kluivert en vele anderen weer schitteren.

    Prettige stad met fijne atmosfeer. Leuke winkels, lekkere tapas en een ruim cultureel aanbod. Ideale ligging ook voor een dagje naar het strand.

12. Great city28 Feb 12

    Wonderful city with a good combination of culture and beach. We visit a lot of the Gaudi's master pieces. I especially loved Casa batlo and the Sagrada familia. The boat trip along the coast was a little bit disappointed.

    Rent a bike and explore the city in a different way! Tip: rent your bike at cruising Barcelona. Nice Dutch girls and great citybikes! Buy your ticket for the Sagrada familia in advance. You can buy them in special ATM (everywhere in the city, but not close to the Sagrada familia itself). So avoid the long queues!

    Barcelona is one of the most vibrant city in Europe. With the best tapas, all gaudy designs and perfect climate. Stay of the very touristic Ramblas and go into the small streets you'll see the real beauty of Barcelona. If you vist it's a must to stop at one of the local tapas bars to tasted the wonderfull tapas with the locals. And do not forget to visit the different Gaudi buildings. One of my favoutites is still Park Guell (the tour bus, which you can take on many places in the city, will take you there). And ofcourse La Sagrada Familia. A marvel of the 20th century!
