Climate information

The months between May and October are the warmest and this is the best time for visiting, although rain showers are possible year round. July and August are the hottest months of the year, with temperatures regularly hitting 30°C (86°F) and above. Winter begins in November and lasts until March with temperatures dropping as low as -20°C (-4°F) in January and February – as the thaw sets watch out for falling icicles. Warsaw's Old Town looks particularly pretty under a fresh blanket of snow, and is best seen from the window of a cosy pub at this time of year.
