Los vuelos a Dubái le llevarán a una ciudad de locura consumista (aunque elegante) con mezquitas iluminadas y aromáticos zocos, llena de orgullo por su cultura árabe.
Qué hacer
Un paseo al atardecer por el bullicioso Dhow Wharfrage sirve para darse cuenta del encanto de la diversidad dubaití. La brisa nocturna le acariciará el pelo mientras contempla a los barqueros cargar la mercancía en los barcos tradicionales de madera, con el reflejo del Banco Nacional como telón de fondo.
Compras
Al tradicional Zoco del Oro podemos ir al caer la tarde para ver a la gente que acude en tropel en busca de gangas exóticas. Es una experiencia imprescindible en todo viaje a Dubái, por las estrechas galerías cubiertas, los persuasivos comerciantes y sus escaparates repletos de tiaras con piedras preciosas incrustadas y espléndidos colgantes de oro.
Restaurantes
Si está de vacaciones en Dublín, no ss puede perder platos del mezze como el wara enab (hojas de parra rellenas) y el humus con ajo, que sirven para abrir el apetito antes del machbous (cordero especiado). Desde los sofisticados restaurantes de los pisos más altos saciaremos el apetito de nuestra vista contemplando las olas del mar de Arabia que golpean la playa de Jumeirah.
Vida nocturna
No deje de buscar vuelos a Dubái si quiere hacerse una idea de cómo es la vida en el desierto. Después de darse una vuelta en coche por las dunas ocres, parará a cenar carne a la parrilla hecha en la hoguera mientras conta estrellas en el negro impenetrable del cielo. Déjese absorber por el silencio de la noche, la arena y las shishas.
Cuándo ir
KLM ofrece vuelos frecuentes a Dubái. Merece la pena coincidir con el Festival de las Compras (en enero), o con las multimillonarias carreras de caballos de la Copa del Mundo de Dubái (en marzo)

In Dubai use the Metro as transport easy to use most Malls/Souks are close to the stations or just a short walk. also try the Desert Safaris to experience the desert way of life. the cheapest travel is the Abras only 1 Dh.

Take the sun in small dozes at the start of holiday and use Factor 30 to begin with, tailing that back to Factor 15 or 10 depending on how your skin takes to the sun.

everything about dubai is larger than life and spectacular to look at. No two buildings are the same shape and no matter where you go the people are friendly, There is so much to see and do you definately need to go back a second , third fourth time to experience it all. Go off roading get the best experience you will ever have take a 4 x 4 day on the sandunes and enjoy the best thrill, the best sunset and topped off by entertainment at the campsight with great food thrown all. all inclusive of your pricel try to visit outside of dubai see the real shops where you can banter for your purchases, it seems obvious but try to see the main sights he palm , the madinat jumeirah,mall fountains, (best place to see this is at TGI in the mall from the balcony), I could go on and on but you wont be disappointed

After arriving we set our objectives on several hotels instead of 1. We stayed at Borg Al Arab, I call the sail boat hotel, 1 night, on the 19th floor beautiful Suite. But very pricy. The Jumeriah Beach Hotel a sister hotel of the Borg El Arab, 3 nghts and Atlantis 3 nights to get the different flavors and elequence of the area. We were impressed at the transistion from a fishing village to a mini- metropolis with all of the diversity and creativity that was expressed in it's construction of different buildings. We went to Abu Dabi and stayed at the Emeritz Palace, 2 days. Very impressive and beautifully appointed. I can honestly say "It is an experience that WE will never forget".Skyking - PR China

It has everything from the most discriminating taste, to the more moderate of tastes. Depends on whether you are going as a family or a couple. It's a shoppers paradise. Even has a snow ski-run housed in a blding, Plenty of sun, <smile> archetectual wonders of a variety including the Palm Islands created from the ocean sand, the tallest blding in the world, and a beautifully constructed Mosque in Abu Dabi. You can spend time just soaking up the culture along the outdoor markets. Really depends on the individual tastes.

Great for a four/five night break. Lots of fabulous shopping centers, souks and a visit to the top of the Burg Khalifa is a must. Don't miss the fountains at night at the Dubai Mall shopping center, water fountains dancing to music.Dave - United Kingdom
