    Shopping in Nice

The streets west of place Masséna are the best place for designer labels, while nearby avenue Jean Médecin is home to popular French chain stores. Bargain hunters should head for Old Nice to find cheap clothes and Provençal gifts. Food and flowers vie for space at the Flower Market in cours Saleya, while antiques abound in the Flea Market on Nice Port's quai Papacino. Most shops open Monday to Saturday 9am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-7pm.
