    Shopping in Venice

As well as an abundance of Italian fashion boutiques, mostly in San Marco, Venice offers a rich selection of local products. Carnevale masks at Ca' Macana rival Murano glass at Berengo and handmade jewellery by the Attombri brothers. Gilberto Penzo is famed for his model gondolas. The bustling Rialto Markets sell fresh produce. Gallery shops are concentrated in Dorsoduro and San Polo is best for craft shops. Most open Monday to Saturday, 9am-1pm and 3.30-7.30pm.
