    Shopping in Lima

The handicraft markets in Miraflores and Pueblo Libre are full of colourful indigenous merchandise, such as woollen hats, woven bags and wooden sculptures. Most importantly, they sell scarves and jumpers made from delicate alpaca wool. Jewellery-addicts will be thrilled by the well-crafted silver at sophisticated Ilaria, while Larcomar in Miraflores or Jockey Plaza in Santiago de Surco are best for clothes shopping. Opening hours vary but run from around 11am to 10pm.
