Rail

The Narita Express (N'EX) runs every 30 minutes to one hour to Tokyo Station, and takes five minutes from Terminals 2 to 1. The cost of a single ticket is ¥2,940. Local subway and JR train lines link Tokyo station with the rest of Tokyo. See Hyperdia for local lines and times.

The Keisei Skyliner travels between Narita Airport and Nippori in 51 minutes and Narita Airport and Ueno in 56 minutes. A fare to Nippori and Ueno is ¥2,400. At peak times, trains depart every 15 minutes, but the wait can be up to 40 minutes at other times.

Coach

The Airport Limousine Bus is a comfortable option for travel to and from Narita Airport. Its buses provide door-to-door service to many major hotels, connecting Narita Airport (all terminals) to the Tokyo City Air Terminal, Haneda Airport and Central Tokyo in around 90 minutes. Buses run every half hour (every hour off peak) and stop running at 10pm. A single fare to central Tokyo costs from ¥3,000. The Keisei Bus also runs to stations around Tokyo.

Taxi

Taxis to and from Narita Airport wait outside all terminals. They are vastly expensive. A single fare, fixed-rate cab ride to Central Tokyo can cost from ¥13,000 to ¥19,000, depending on destination. Car

Drive to Terminals 1 and 2 via the Higashi Kanto Expressway (get off at the Shin-Kuko Expressway) or Routes 51 and 29. Car hire is available from both terminals. Driving to and from Central Tokyo in the morning or evening rush hour can take well over two hours. In the middle of the day the trip is shorter at around 40-45 minutes.
