Things to do in Jakarta

Indonesia's complex past is on display at Central Jakarta's National Museum. The Dutch colonial area of Kota gives a flavour of Jakarta's multitude of cultural influences and the Maritime Museum gives a glimpse of how Indonesia's multitude of islands have embraced the sea. Some 4,000 types of fish swim at North Jakarta's Sea World. Many museums are open daily except Mondays.
