Bonaire Flamingo Airport
Bonaire's small candyfloss-coloured Flamingo International Airport receives numerous flights from The Americas and neighbouring islands as well as direct scheduled services from Europe. A 4-km (2.5-mile) taxi- or hire car- ride takes visitors into the centre of Kralendijk in under 10 minutes.
Less than half a dozen shops offer travellers just a few retail possibilities, from souvenirs, alcohol, tobacco and Dutch cheese to perfume. Look for a cluster of outlets in departures and a single shop in the Central Hall.
Flamingo Airport has internet points in the Central Hall before Departures.
East & Drink
Hungry departing travellers can grab a bite to eat at the small snack bar after security. Passengers with time to spare can enjoy decent Caribbean cuisine at Le Mirage before Departures.
