Cheer on sailing vessels galore at the International Sailing Ragatta (Jan) before joining cavalcades of frenzied costumed dancers and tumba beats during Carnival Season (Feb/March). Soak up mellow sounds and up-tempo big-bands at May's Jazz Festival. Honour the Slave Uprising Anniversary (mid-Aug), celebrate October's Flag Day in patriot style and don't forget to stuff a shoe with hay on ultra-festive St Nicholas Day (Dec).

Opening of the Curaçao International Kite Season

The Curaçao International Kite Season begins in February with workshops and small kite-flying competitions. A night-fly and other exciting activities pave the way to to the annual Curaçao International Cup Kite Competition in early March.
