Curaçao's year-round steamy temperatures hover at 30°C (86°F)and offer consistent sunny skies. Swaying palms and thickets of divi divi trees survive on a sparse scattering of annual rainfall (570mm per year) with October to February the so-called wettest months. Refreshing trade winds fan the island, although Curaçao sits outside the Caribbean hurricane belt.
