Venice Marco Polo Airport
Venice Marco Polo Airport flies over seven million passengers each year. The airport is 13 km (8 miles) by car and 10 km (6 miles) by boat from the city centre. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes to reach St Mark's Square by waterbus and 20 minutes to Piazzale Roma by road.
Marco Polo Airport has 4,000 square metres of retail space, with 25 shops located in the Departures area of the terminal. Clothes, jewellery, shoes and leather goods are on sale from well-known brands such as Swatch, La Perla and Stefanel. Make the most of duty-free shopping from the Elite Duty Free store, with savings on alcohol and tobacco, fragrance, skincare and cosmetics, confectionery and gifts.
Wireless high-speed internet access is available in the airport. There are hot spots located in the Schengen departure area and non-Schengen departure lounge on the ground floor, and Schengen departure area on the first floor as well as the lounges on the second floor. Prepaid vouchers can be bought in the Megabeam shopping centre. There are also six computer kiosks in Departures and four in Arrivals.
East & Drink
There is a variety of places to eat in the airport, both before and after security. Grab a snack in Café Marco Polo before checking in. On the departures side, enjoy a light meal in Bricco Caffè or La Bottega dei Sapori, and perhaps a hot drink in Culto Café e Cioccolato.
