    Birmingham's buoyant dining scene attracts top chefs to its eateries. From classic British cuisine at Purnell's, owned by Michelin-starred chef Glynn Purnell, to the lively French bistro Chez Jules, the city centre offers an eclectic mix. Head south to Sparkbrook's Balti Triangle, and Brindleyplace for picturesque canalside dining. Many restaurants occupy The Mailbox mall too. Last orders are around 11pm. Service is generally included at 12.5%, but check the bill.
