The months between November and February are the coolest and wettest, but the temperature rarely dips below freezing even in January. April is known for its showers, while the summer months – May to August – are warm (16-25°C or 61-77°F). Although, like the rest of the UK, the weather can be unpredictable at any time, it's sufficient to bring a waterproof.
