    Restaurants in Chicago

    With some of the country's best restaurants, Chicago is a food city. Charlie Trotter's rules in Lincoln Park. Gourmands flock to Near North's Gibsons Steakhouse and Shaw's Crab House and Blue Crab Lounge. Comfort food connoisseurs prefer to eat deep-dish pizza at Pizzeria Uno or Portillo's Hot Dogs/Barnelli's Pasta Bowl in River North. Many restaurants are closed on Monday nights. Opening hours vary but dinner begins between 5pm and 6pm. Tipping ranges from 10%-20%.
