Nightlife in Nairobi
In central Nairobi, the most appealing introductions to Kenyan nightlife include the gritty but relatively upmarket Zanze Bar. More visitor-friendly still is the Simba Saloon in Langata. For a quiet outdoor drink, hotel bars are generally the safest option - Fairmont the Norfolk hotel's Lord Delamere Terrace is the pick for atmosphere. Some of the places that stay open all day and night around River Road can be intimidating for first-time visitors.
