    Things to do in Nairobi

Kenya is the home of safari but, in Nairobi's Langata district, the AFEW Giraffe Centre also lets visitors get up close to these lofty creatures, while orphaned rhino and elephant are nursed at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Bomas of Kenya showcases Kenya's rich cultural mosaic with traditional buildings and dancing. Nairobi National Museum is the country's finest museum, featuring many fossils as well as portraying Kenya's natural and ethnic history.
