Climate information

Despite its Scandinavian location, Gothenburg boasts surprisingly temperate weather, although its maritime situation means it can be wet and windy at any time, so waterproofs are advisable. However, the summer months are warm and pleasant (averaging around 20°C (68ºF) and more in July and August). In winter average temperatures hover around the 1-2°C (35ºF) mark.
