London
London flights take you to a city of a hundred villages. Try our favourite experiences in our guide to the best London city breaks.
Things to do
London’s iconic red buses snake through the capital. Travel London the way locals do and catch the 23 bus at Liverpool Street past domed St Paul’s Cathedral and bustling Trafalgar Square. Colourful narrowboats are your companions as you wander under a canopy of trees to London Zoo.
Shopping
Oxford Street’s shops throng with busy bargain hunters all day long. Once you’ve stocked up on high-street fashions, browse Camden Market for arty one-off pieces, then cool down with a walk along London’s best kept secret – the canal.
Restaurants
Relax after London flights with a chilled white wine in the leafy beer garden of a Highgate gastro-pub. On colder days savour a pint by the roaring fire after a walk through the rolling hills of Hampstead Heath.
Nightlife
Flights to London bring you to a city alive with music and culture. You can buy tickets to the London musical of your choice at Leicester Square’s kiosks and join the audience that night on a spontaneous London city break.
When to go
KLM has frequent flights to London. Choose the date of your London airline tickets to catch top events. Tennis at Wimbledon is in June, while August brings the Notting Hill Carnival.

Best experiance of my life; being in UK04 Apr 12
Since I arrived to England and Edimburgh , I was delighted because I visited very nice places like the house of parliament, Thames River, Big ben, The london Eye. Now, I can't forget those memories. Also, I liked so much the attencion that I received from KLM. I definetely recommend to visit United Kingdom.Anav - Peru

London Rocks03 Apr 12
I have been to London 5 times, and cannot get enough of it. We have still not seen so many historical sights. We love the theatres, the Buzz, Covent gardens, Hampton Court palace, the bus tours, and just being there. It feels like a second home, and cannot wait to go again.Lindy-loo - South Africa

Buy daily tube passes - by far the cheapest way to see London (includes buses). Plan what sights you want to visit - there are so many, and you don't want to miss any out. You MUST go to a West End theatre production.

London an unique experience19 Mar 12
What a modern city! Plenty of many attractions for everyone: China Town, National Gallery, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace.... I still remember the time when I went to London, through Euro Channel between France and England, What an amazing job! Such everything I have never seen something like that before and after neither... I will never forget the Greenwich Meridian near London city, where I put a foot in each middle of the earth. If someday you want to visit London, never forget to enter into a red telephone cabinet, you will be surprised and then remember me...voyager - Peru

Something I couldn't do and I regret, is don't be able to take a picture of me with one of the Royal Body of Gards at the Buckingham Palace: They are difficult ones!
