With a facelift designed to expand its passenger capacity to 30 million annually, Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport is Latin America's largest. The journey into the city centre (6km west of the airport) takes approximately 30 minutes by metro.

Airport parking
The Estacionamente Nacional is located opposite doors 1 and 2 of the Terminal 1 building. Open all day every day, it offers parking for up to 24 hours only. Facilities include basic mechanical assistance services, a car wash, a money-changing booth, valet parking and a transportation service to the Terminal building for the disabled. There are also sheltered parking facilities at Terminal 2.

Transport between terminals
A free train service links both terminals, available only to passengers connecting between flights upon presentation of their electronic ticket, their agent-issued ticket or a boarding pass.
Terminal 1
Most international airlines operate out of Terminal 1, so most passengers arriving in and leaving Mexico City need only familiarise themselves with this terminal unless they have an ongoing flight on one of the airlines operating out of Terminal 2.
Terminal 2
The airlines operating out of Terminal 2 service destinations throughout Mexico and the United States. Passengers with ongoing flights to destinations within either of these two countries should verify which terminal their flight is due to depart from.
