Nightlife in Quito
Quito has a good sprinkling of atmospheric bars and clubs, most of them in the New Town. La Mariscal is a favourite with foreign visitors, especially Varadero and the Turtle's Head. Locals prefer jazz bar El Pobre Diablo, themed clubs and salsatecas. The Old Town is more cultural with an arty vibe in Cafelibro and classical music and ballet at the Sucre National Theatre. Most establishments close by 2am.
