Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport
Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is the busiest airport in Poland, handling more than half of the nation's air traffic, with over nine million passengers passing through the airport annually. Located just 10 km (6 miles) south-west of central Warsaw, journey time to the centre often hinges on the traffic, although it will rarely take more than 15 to 30 minutes.
Warsaw Airport has a reasonable selection of retail opportunities for the traveller, mostly post-security. In the public area, pick up magazines and books from Relay and Immedio, last-minute sweet treats from 1 Minute or designer-brand watches from Jubiler. After passport control, there are duty-free stores in both Schengen and non-Schengen areas, bargains on top-selling clothing brands at Jump, Polish crafts on sale at Kapela Folk Galeria and traditional wooden toys in Discover Warsaw.
Wireless high-speed internet access is installed throughout the airport.
