Airport Edinburgh
Situated eight miles (12 km) west of the capital, Edinburgh Airport flies nine million passengers a year from a single terminal. A tramway connecting the airport to Leith is planned for 2010. A £40 million terminal extension is planned for 2011.

There is undercover short-stay parking at the terminal. In addition, on- and off-site long-stay car parks are accessible via a five-minute courtesy coach ride (runs every five to 10 minutes). Online pre-booking is cheaper than standard parking fees, and can be amended or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before travelling.
