Review of Dublin
Dublin
Flights to Dublin take you to Ireland's vibrant capital filled with smart Georgian squares and old-fashioned pubs. At weekends, central Temple Bar buzzes with markets, and art-lovers flock to see Damien Hirsts at the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Things to do
Housed in a 17th–century Kilmainham hospital, the Irish Museum of Modern Art provides an unusual setting for Irish and world art, while Kilmainham Gaol brings Dublin's turbulent history to life. Sports fans can buy tickets to Dublin's famous Croke Park stadium to see frenetic Irish sports.
Shopping
Shopping trips to Dublin take in grand department stores on O'Connell Street or fashion stores on pedestrianised Grafton Street. On homeward flights from Dublin, pack antiques from Francis Street, Irish chocolates from Fallon & Byrne, or crystal from Kildare Street.
Restaurants
Holidays to Dublin would not be complete without local seafood in coastal Howth. Dublin's diverse dining scene ranges from fresh pasta in Quartier Bloom and French cuisine in L'Ecrivain to homely bistros around St Stephen's Green and Trinity College.
Nightlife
Victorian–era pubs with Guinness on tap cluster around Great George's Street, near College Green, and many upmarket wine bars are in Dublin's renovated Docklands. You can enjoy a taste of literary history with tickets to a Dublin theatre around O'Connell Street.
When to go
KLM and partners have frequent flights to Dublin. Try to time Dublin city breaks to coincide with the Theatre Festival in September or the Samhain Halloween parade in October.

A very musical city23 Jan 12
Although Dublin doesn't have as many attractions as Paris or London, it is definitely a city worth visiting. Enjoy a Guinness and some live music in one of the many pubs in the city. Enjoy the laidback Irish lifestyle in this great city.Report abuseNick - Aruba
