Cape Town International Airport
Cape Town International Airport flies just over eight million passengers a year from its two terminals. A total makeover includes an elevated road to ease access to the terminals, an additional multi-storey car park and a brand-new Central Terminal Building (CTB), catering for both international and domestic travellers.
Airport MyCiTi shuttles provide a service from the airport to Hertzog Boulevard in central Cape Town between 5am and 10pm. Fares are R53 one way.

The fastest and most convenient means of getting into Cape Town from the airport is by taxi. Touch Down Taxis, which are officially authorised by the airport, wait outside both the Domestic and International Arrivals Halls. The N2 highway connects the airport with central Cape Town. Allow 20-30 minutes for the journey. Car hire is available in front of the Transport Plaza and Central Terminal Building.
