Toronto - Pearson International Airport
One of North America's busiest airports and Canada's biggest, Toronto Pearson International Airport flies around 34 million passengers a year from two terminals. A taxi to downtown Toronto, 25 km (15.5 miles) south-east, takes around half an hour.

Abouttown runs shuttle buses to destinations throughout Ontario and these are a relatively cheap way for visitors travelling beyond Toronto. Visit their desks on the ground level of Terminal 1 and the arrivals level at Terminal 3 or book ahead online.
Find licensed and metered taxis and limos outside Arrivals at both terminals, 24-hours a day. Rates are fixed according to the distance and length of journey, within the Greater Toronto Area and out of town. Any destination not listed is charged at the rate of C$1.55 per kilometre. The fare to downtown Toronto is C$60-C$75 and the journey takes 30-40 minutes. Taxi drivers expect a 10%-15% tip in addition to the fare.
Car-rental agencies are located on Level 1 in the parking areas at each terminal. Follow Highway 409 Airport Access Road to Highway 427 and the Gardiner Expressway which goes directly into Toronto downtown, taking around 25 minutes. In winter, visitors unfamiliar with driving in snow are advised to take public transport.
