    Shopping in Helsinki

The city centre boasts some famous department stores and excellent shopping malls, including Stockmann's designer fashion and the Moomin Shop, the official place for Moomin character memorabilia. Nordic interior design and fashion is a major draw for the Helsinki shopper, but it's worth heading a little off the beaten track to hunt for bargains at the Market Square in Kaartinkaupunki or Hakaniemi Market Hall in Kallio.
