July and August can be hot and humid (16-33°C/61-91°F), with locals escaping to shaded beer gardens to avoid the heat. The spring and autumn months are generally mild. Between December and February, the thermometer can drop well below zero (normally -7°C-+3°C/19-37°F), so this is the time to enjoy the snow in the Bavarian Alps.
