22 miles (35 km) north of Downtown Houston.

Airport parking

There are car parks at all five terminals, including short-stay and long-stay, business and valet parking with more than 25,000 parking spaces. In addition there is an economy Ecopark lot at the corner of Greens Road and John F Kennedy Boulevard plus a number of off-airport car parks with complimentary shuttles to the airport.

Terminals

KLM operates out of Terminal D, with flights bound for Amsterdam Schiphol to connect with pan-European flights.

These are useful guidelines only – always check in advance to find out which terminal your flight departs from. If you make a mistake, it’s only around two to five minutes’ between each of the terminals on the Inter Terminal Train and one minute on the Automated People Mover between terminals, B, C, D and E.

Transport between terminals

A free underground Inter Terminal Train links all terminals as well as the airport hotel. There is also an overground Automated People Mover that links terminals B, C and E.

Terminal A

Domestic routes and routes to Canada operate from Terminal A.

Terminal B

Flights from Terminal B go to destinations throughout the US. Extension work here is due to finish in mid-2013.

Terminal C

Terminal C is for domestic flights to destinations throughout the US.

Terminal D

International flights with foreign airlines depart from Terminal D.

Terminal E

International flights depart from Terminal E.
