The Centro Histórico boasts the city's best cantinas as well as Palacio de Bellas Artes, a performing arts hub. Mariachi bands perform in the open air into the early hours around Cuauhtémoc's Plaza Garibaldi. It's here that many locals choose to end a long night of partying.
