Review of Cape Town
Cape Town
Take flights to Cape Town to explore a city where the rural and the urban intertwine in an intriguing cultural mosaic.
Things to do
The smell of salt air, the crashing of the waves and glorious views over Robben Island and Table Mountain; start your holiday in Cape Town with a leisurely walk among the joggers, dog-walkers and rollerbladers of the Oceanside Sea Point Promenade.
Shopping
Nestled among the shady piazzas and tree-lined cobbled streets of Cape Town’s De Waterkant district are tiny local shops selling traditional beadwork and jewellery. Flights to Cape Town are the best way to buy elegant African dolls decorated from head to toe in a kaleidoscopic rainbow of little beads.
Restaurants
Wash down tender ostrich steaks with full-bodied Cape Town red wines in one of the oak-tree-shaded farmhouses that dot pretty Stellenbosch. Swap the hustle and bustle of the city for cool valley winds and wild bird cries.
Nightlife
Flights to Cape Town bring you a contrasting nightlife. Start at sunset with cocktails in Camps Bay, then drive to Greenpoint for European-style nightclubs. The African rhythms of street artists accompany you back to the car.
When to go
KLM has frequent flights to Cape Town. Book your airline tickets to Cape Town between December and April for the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts or in April for the Two Oceans Marathon.

Cape Town was one of the most amazing places I have ever been in my life. The environment is very friendly and there are so many things to do there. I would go back in a heartbeat if I got the chance.Report abuseYo -

This city has it all23 Mar 12
This place is magic. An abundance of energy, nature, a deep blue ocean with enormous waves, high mountains in spectacualr forms, and genuine, friendly people. Good value for money, especially very good food in exquisite restaurants. No wonder this was chosen number 1 in tripadvisor's list of destinations.Eduard - Netherlands

Stay here for at least one week, if you book a holiday in SA, there is a lot to do and see. Choose a nice, safe area near the sea, central town is a bit of a business-centre with noise and not entirely safe, at night. Days are not a problem. Winters are also a great time to visit. Not really beach weather but many other things still worth doing and visiting with a pleasant 20 C and some sun! There are some really nice, lovely, -good value for money-guesthouses in BANTRY BAY, a safe, chic and convenient part of Cape Town. Near the sea, shops and very good restaurants. My favourite area!(Windfree!, returning tourists will know what I mean) Just google and you will find. Select ''images'' and you will want to book instantly!
