Spring and autumn are mild (16-20°C/60-68°F) and November to February get the most rain, although the temperature rarely dips below freezing. In August, the mercury hits 26°C (80°F) but pollution can make it feel hotter and more humid. Unless Paris is having a heat-wave, air-conditioned hotel rooms aren't essential.
