Seoul - Incheon International Airport
One of Asia's busiest passenger and cargo airports, Seoul's Incheon International Airport transports around 34 million passengers annually to destinations throughout Asia, Europe and North America. Built 52km (32.5 miles) west of downtown Seoul on reclaimed tidal land between Yeongjongdo and Yongjudo Islands, Incheon's airport buses make the 90-minute journey into the city centre approximately every 30 minutes.
There are shopping opportunities at both the main Passenger Terminal and the Concourse Building. Buy duty-free alcohol, jewellery, cosmetics and electronics at Shila or Lotte Duty Free shops in both terminal buildings. Kimchi, red pepper sauce and other traditional Korean culinary treats are available at Chonggafood. Pick up books and magazines at GS Books.
Free high-speed wireless internet access is installed throughout the airport.
East & Drink
Both the Passenger Terminal and the Concourse Building have a wide variety of cafés and restaurants. Head to the Food Court in the basement of the Passenger Terminal for casual Korean fare. Simple Western favourites dominate the menu at Café Amoje on the third floor of the Passenger Terminal. Enjoy a chilled glass of sikye, a traditional sweet rice drink, at the Bizeun kiosk.
