Shopping in Budapest

The Ecseri and PESCA flea markets yield bargains, including memorabilia from the communist era. Districts V, VI and VII are good hunting grounds for folk items in felt and wood. Fashion designers like Katti Zoób are putting Budapest on the map. Find international clothing in malls or on touristy Váci utca. Foodie items, like Pálinka brandy and paprika are piled high at the Great Market Hall. Shops are open from 10am to 6pm, malls until later.
