Transport between terminals
Use the free 24-hour airport transit system (ATS) to move between terminals (allow ten minutes to travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5). Services run every four minutes, and the train also connects to the long-term parking lot. If you want to stretch your legs, it's possible to walk between Terminals 1, 2 and 3 (allow 30 minutes).
Terminal 1 is the hub for some domestic services and international departures.
Domestic and international flights by some US and Canadian airlines operate from Terminal 2.
Terminal 3 is a hub for domestic services and international departures.
Terminal 5 is O'Hare's main international terminal, with flights operated by the majority of airlines the airport handles. The terminal handles both arrivals and departures.
