Las Vegas - McCarran International Airport
McCarran International Airport is the sixth busiest airport in the US and funnels 41.5 million passengers annually through two terminals with nearly 100 gates divided together. Centrally located, the world-famous Strip is a short one-mile taxi ride from the airport.
Coach
Catch the RTC bus route SDX to The Strip and Downtown at either terminal 9am-12.30am. Fares are US$3 per person one way for two hours of travel. Buses run at 20- to 30-minute intervals from the airport.
Shuttle Bus
Independently operated shuttle buses carry passengers to and from the airport to most major hotels on The Strip and Downtown. The 10-20-minute ride costs US$7-US$8.50 per person each way. Only use the airport-approved shuttle services listed on the website below.
Taxi
Taxi queues are standard outside the airport terminals and at most major hotels and attractions, making this the easiest choice to and from McCarran International Airport. Rates average US$14-US$35, including an airport charge of US$1.50 plus a 10-15% gratuity, depending on traffic and your specific destination on The Strip and cover up to five people in the vehicle for the 10-20-minute ride.
Car
Drive to all terminals via Paradise Road, which runs parallel to The Strip about a mile east, and passes directly through airport property. An alternate route accesses the airport through a connector tunnel off Interstate 215 to the south. Driving times vary but average 10-20 minutes to The Strip. Dedicated shuttles depart the terminals approximately every 5 minutes to the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. Exit door 10 or 11.
