An inner city characterised by shops and water

Hamburg offers exceptional shopping, whatever the weather. In less favourable conditions, the large indoor Europa Passages are ideal: five floors of shopping heaven! On sunnier days, the Alsterar Quays are a good option due to their location on the water. You’ll find even more water at the Binnenalster: this lake, situated in the heart of the city, is a wonderful place for a stroll or a drink. Hamburg is the ideal destination for a varied city trip or the perfect starting point for a longer holiday in Germany. Discover it yourself: book a flight to Hamburg today!

Entertainment for young and old

Hamburg has sights and attractions to suit all ages. Visitors with children should head straight for Miniature Wonderland, which is home to Europe’s largest model railway, including model airports and motorways built to scale. A nice way to see Hamburg from a different perspective is by taking a boat tour. Step on board and be transported through the old city to the historical and architecturally fascinating Speicherstadt, an atmospheric district full of old warehouses. Here you can discover the trading history of this important harbour city.
