Selection procedure
The selection procedure for the position of Commercial Pilot for KLM and KLM Cityhopper aircraft is carried out by the Human Resources Department at KLM Flight Operations.
Job vacancies are usually filled by ab-initio pilots who have graduated from the KLM Flight Academy, KLM’s preferred supplier. In recent years, experienced pilots, primarily operating KLM Cityhopper aircraft, have also had the opportunity to transfer into this position.
