No, our aircraft are not technically equipped to fly outside Europe safely.  How many people can we take along?  Are you flying in a group of 10 to 100 persons? Then the Fokker 50 (with 50 seats) and the Fokker 100 (with 101 seats) are eminently suitable aircraft. For larger groups, we simply use more planes. If you are travelling in a smaller group, up to about 10 persons, then you fly with one of our business jets (Cessna Citiations).   Before the flight Where can I collect the ticket? You will be travelling on one joint ticket that is valid for all passengers on the flight. We will send you this group ticket through the post.  Where do we check in? We will notify you of the check-in counter before the flight. At every airport, the number of the check-in counter is displayed on the monitor in the hall.  How do we find a hotel? How do we get to Schiphol East?  You will find a route description here. Do the flight prices include VAT?  All European flights include VAT. Only on flights within the Netherlands is 19% VAT added.             During the flight Are we allowed to smoke on board? On our scheduled flights, we follow a no-smoking policy. This also applies to our charter flights.  What sort of catering is served on board? You can select from a range of catering options. We will gladly inform you about the possibilities and rates. In all cases, we will endeavour to accommodate your special wishes.  What sorts of drinks are served on board? We serve a wide range of drinks on our charter flights, ranging from soft drinks and beer to wines and spirits. Please ask us about the possibilities and rates. How many stewards/stewardesses are on board? In all cases, there will be 2 stewards/stewardesses on all flights who will attend to you and your group. On a business jet, there are no stewards/stewardesses on board. However, we can of course provide them upon request. We will gladly inform you about the possibilities and rates.    Rules How much luggage can we take along? You can each take 6 kg of hand luggage (within certain dimensions) and 15 kg of normal luggage.  How long before take-off must we be at the airport? The check-in starts 1.5 hours before departure. If you fly with a business jet, you will be collected at the terminal half an hour before departure. Do we need passports? Yes, you must have valid passports.  Further information Can we also depart from a destination outside the Netherlands? Yes, you can. Contact the KLM cityhopper Charter Sales department for further information.   Is it possible to do duty-free shopping on a charter flight?  KLM cityhopper does not have duty-free facilities on board.
