Baggage to be transported as freight

Pieces of baggage that exceed the maximum weight and maximum dimensions can only be carried as freight. You may make arrangements beforehand that the baggage be carried as freight at the applicable freight fees. For more information you can get in touch with KLM Cargo on +31 (0)20 6498000.

  • The maximum dimensions for each piece of hold baggage depend on the type of aircraft and range from 203 cm to 406 cm (length+width+height). This is why we ask you to contact KLM Reservations if your piece of baggage exceeds 203 cm.
  • The maximum total weight of all your hold baggage may not exceed 200 kg (64 kg on flights operated by KLM cityhopper).
