Use your Award Miles for all types of flights. Whether your priority is price, flexibility or a particular cabin class, you will find an award ticket to suit you. The number of Award Miles you’ll need for each flight varies depending on the flexibility of your travel dates and the award ticket’s conditions. From upgrades to lounge access, you can use your Award Miles to make the most of special services that give you that little bit extra.

| Classic Award | You can use your Award Miles towards an award ticket to any destination you choose. The Classic Awards scheme is used by AIR FRANCE, KLM and our partners Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAROM, which means you can combine several flights on the same ticket. On flights with AIR FRANCE, KLM, our partners Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAROM, and Delta and Malaysia Airlines, you can take advantage of a one-way award ticket* for half the price of a round-trip award. Please note that on other airlines’ flights Classic Awards are for round-trip tickets only.** * Stopovers are not permitted on this type of ticket. Only US residents can take advantage of the one-way award ticket to the United States. Reserving a one-way award ticket on a domestic flight inside France is only available online. Some code-sharing flights do not allow the issue of award tickets. For more information, please contact the Flying Blue Service Centre. ** Reservations for award tickets can be made based on the availability of specially allocated seats. Please bear in mind that airport and security taxes and fuel surcharges are not covered by your Miles and must be paid separately. | ||
| Europe Classic Award | Enjoy greater availability of award seats on European flights. The Europe Classic Award is available for 125% of the Award Miles usually required for a classic award ticket in Economy Class. This award is only available on flights within Europe and on domestic flights in France, operated by AIR FRANCE or KLM. | ||
| Promo Award@ | Promo Awards@ offer a 50% discount on the Award Miles usually required for a Classic Award ticket in the same cabin class to certain destinations. | Elite Award | The Elite Award is reserved exclusively for Flying Blue Silver, Gold and Platinum members. This award ticket is available for 115% of the Miles usually required for a Classic Award in the same cabin class. The Elite Award is only available on certain flights.* * Reservations for award tickets can be made based on the availability of specially allocated seats. Please bear in mind that airport and security taxes and fuel surcharges are not covered by your Miles and must be paid separately. | ||
| Flex Award | With AIR FRANCE, KLM and our partners Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAROM, you can reserve a round-trip award ticket* on the flight of your choice, even if no award seats are available. The Flex Award lets you book an award seat for 200% of the Miles usually required for a Classic Award in the same cabin class. The Flex Award can also be used for one-way tickets on AIR FRANCE and KLM flights.
* Reservations for award tickets can be made based on the availability of seats on the chosen flight. Only Flying Blue Elite members can use Flex Awards to fly in First Class or Business Class. Flex Awards do not apply to upgrade and Round-the-World awards or to award tickets reserved on franchised or code-share flights. Flex Award tickets can be exchanged or re-credited free of charge. | Upgrade award | Upgrade awards give access to the next class of travel up from the full fare you paid when flying with AIR FRANCE, KLM and our partners Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAROM.* You can also give an upgrade award to anyone you choose, even if you’re not travelling with them.
* Depending on the number of award seats available on the flight. One upgrade maximum per flight (from the paid class of travel to the one above). Valid only for full-fare reservation classes, and on one-way flights. Flex Awards do not apply. | ||
| SkyTeam upgrade award | SkyTeam upgrade awards are available on all SkyTeam airlines (except Alitalia). You can also give an upgrade award to anyone you choose, even if you’re not travelling with them. | ||
| Access to lounges | Our lounges are specially designed to satisfy all your needs. Many are fully equipped with Internet access, so you are able to get down to business, check your personal e-mails, or simply enjoy a little online entertainment. Flying Blue Silver members can use their Award Miles to pay the entrance fee, while Flying Blue Gold and Platinum members may use their Miles to pay for the lounge access of extra guests.

| Pay taxes with Award Miles | You can use your Award Miles to pay taxes and fees for award tickets. The rate is 7,500 Award Miles for taxes and fees for each flight segment. This is available for AIR FRANCE and KLM award tickets on flights within Europe (except for flights entirely within France). To pay your taxes and fees using Award Miles, please contact the Flying Blue Service Centre. | ||

Flying Blue Store makes spending Miles easier than ever.
Choose from a wide variety of services and products on which to spend your Miles – online!
Simply go to the Flying Blue Store to select the award you desire, then log in using your Flying Blue number and PIN to order an e-voucher. As soon as the e-voucher appears in your inbox, just contact the partner’s reservation centre directly to complete your purchase, as detailed in the e-voucher. It’s that simple!

Making a donation to charity
You can donate your Award Miles to a charity chosen by you from the list of Flying Blue’s partner associations. The minimum donation is 3,000 Award Miles, which you can increase in units of 1,000 Miles (provided that you have at least 10,000 Award Miles on your Flying Blue account).
