New terminal for flights to/from São Paulo
KLM now operates on the new Terminal 3 at Guarulhos International Airport
Since the 2nd of August, 2014, KLM operates its flights from / to São Paulo on the new Terminal 3 at the Guarulhos International Airport – GRU, where check-in, departures and arrivals of the following flights will take place:
KL792 São Paulo > Amsterdam
KL791 Amsterdam > São Paulo
More comfort and convenience to KLM clients
Check-in counters and Self-service kiosks:
KLM check-in counters are located at the G sector of Terminal 3, besides the self-service kiosk.
Is available besides the check-in counters at Sector G daily from 12h30 to 18h15.
New VIP Lounge:
Passengers travelling on World Business Class or Elite (Platinum, Gold) members of the Flying Blue frequent flyer program will be hosted on the VIP Business Class lounge managed by GRU Airport, located at the restricted area, after the X-Ray security inspection system, at the new terminal’s mezzanine. Therefore, passengers pass through all of the departure procedure and wait for their flights with more comfort.
Passengers on connection flights:
Passengers arriving in GRU with connection via a GOL domestic flight can drop off their baggage and proceed to Terminal 2.
About the Terminal 3
Terminal 3 of GRU Airport started its operation last May, with initial capacity to receive 12 million passengers per year. Dedicated to international flights, Terminal 3 has a 192 thousand m2 area and is equipped with some of the best technology and equipment available. Terminal 3 has capacity to host 34 airplanes.
The Terminal is divided into two buildings with 5 levels each. The first one is reserved to Departures and it is where the check-in, X Rays, passport control, customs and baggage departments are located, while the second building is a pier that gives access to the aircrafts, with 20 boarding gates.
Terminal 3 is easily reached from Terminal 2, providing a seamless access to connecting passengers.
The terminal’s restricted area has controlled access via optical scanning to the passengers boarding tickets.
