    Change of travel plans? You can cancel or change your booking, depending on the fare conditions of your ticket.

    Can I change or cancel my ticket?

    You can change your travel dates and/or times if the fare conditions allow this and if your ticket was issued by KLM or AIR FRANCE. Tickets for babies, tickets for children travelling alone, and tickets for which you have requested a special service (such as assistance at the airport or on board) can only be changed by calling the KLM Service Centre.

    If you do not take all flights or legs of this journey, or in the specified order, extra costs may be charged.

    If your flight is cancelled, we will contact you by phone and/or by e-mail and text message about any rebooking options.

    When changing your ticket to a higher fare type you may need to pay the price difference.

    Administration fee
    Regardless your ticket type(booking class), you always pay an administration fee to cancel your booking.

    If you would like to change a changeable ticket, you will only pay the administration fee if you do this via telephone. Via My Trip you will not have to pay an administration fee. Changing a fully flexible ticket type is always free of cost.

    How does it work? Change online

    Simply log on to My Trip to adjust your reservation yourself. If you have already checked in for your flight, you need to cancel check-in to be able to change your flight. Go to check-in online on KLM.com to cancel your check-in.

    After logging on to My Trip, you can view a list of alternative flights and, if applicable, the additional costs per flight. If you have a fully flexible ticket and you can change your reservation free of charge, you can change your ticket online as many times as you want.

    If changing your reservation requires an additional fee, you can pay by credit card. It is not possible to cancel a ticket via My Trip.

    If you have reserved an Economy Comfort seat, a seat with extra legroom or a seat in a row of 2 and you change your travel dates and/or times online, you should reserve that seat type on the new flight. You may then request a refund for the costs of the seat on the original flight.

    • To change or cancel tickets which you booked directly on KLM.com, via a KLM ticket office or via the KLM Service Centre, please contact the KLM Service Centre.
    • To change or cancel tickets booked via a travel agent, please contact the relevant travel agent.
